Some recent wish updates
Do you remember 'Willow the Warrior'?
We recently shared the inspiring story of this little warrior, born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Willow, age 6, has had four open-heart surgeries in her short life and has been through over 30 procedures.
Her wish, inspired by hours spent watching the giant fish tank in the hospital, is to go on a deep-sea adventure at the Great Barrier Reef and find Nemo.
Thanks to an overwhelming response from supporters like you, Willow’s wish is on the way.A big thank you to all our supporters who sent in messages of support for Willow.
She recently received a special book of these messages as part of her Wish Journey and reading all the words of encouragement has brought an extra special smile to Willow’s face.
Willow’s wish was delayed by COVID-19, so thank you so much for bringing hope and joy into Willow’s life through your support. You make a life-changing difference to so many wish kids just like Willow.
You helped us 'Light up for Hannah'!
You might remember Hannah, the little girl born with half a heart. We’ve shared her story across social media throughout February, asking supporters like you to ‘Light Up’ for Hannah.
Hannah’s wish to see the lights of Vivid in Sydney has been delayed due to COVID-19 and as part of her wish anticipation, with help from our friends at Blooms the Chemist, supporters have been sending in photos and videos of them ‘lighting up’ in support of Hannah.
Just recently, all these wonderful videos and photos were shared with Hannah, on a screen outside her home.
These messages of support mean so much to wish kids like Hannah, thank you! Hannah’s wish should be coming true for Vivid 2021, thanks to your continued support.
